Orchard House Care Home is a family-owned care home located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire that specialises in respite and long-term care.
One thing became abundantly clear: in 2025 there was a lack of good quality respite care available locally, and the people we were supporting and their families needed more than just a few hours’ respite per week.
Now at Orchard House, we can truly support people through a care journey that meets their needs for respite and long-term care.
A seamless approach
The choice and flexibility of our services enable our visitors to book respite stays. This seamless approach means that we can really get to know the individuals and understand their needs and likes, so we can provide the highest standards of care and attention. We can also consider long-term residential care and make Orchard House a home-from-home for the person you support. With just six beds, you can rest assured that the person you care for is in good hands and being looked after like family!
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a residential care home for younger adults, people under and over 65, and for people living with dementia or complex needs.
